The optical diffractional limitation is the minimum divergence of a laser beam through a finite aperture. In this circumstance, the wavefront has approximately 0.3X of optical phase difference against a planar wavefront. The paper introduces various kinds of wavefront measuring methods in existence and presents an original complementary shearing interferometry and its applications.
